Food Photography at Jivamuktea Cafe

In January & February 2016 I had the pleasure of photographing several dishes at Jivamuktea Cafe in NYC.  I really fell for the spacious & relaxed vibe at this all vegan cafe as well as their delicious dishes!  My Q & A with head chef & cafe manager Michael Knight will be published along with my photos of some of their dishes later this year.

Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich- Tempeh Bacon, Tofu & Daiya

Tempeh Tuna Sandwich- Seasoned tempeh, tomato, romaine & soy free mayo

Mezze Plate- Hummus, tabbouleh, olives, pita, grilled veggies

Mac N Cheese- Gluten Free Pasta with cashew cheese sauce and mixed field greens with mustard vinaigrette

Pesto Zucchini Fettuccine- Raw Zucchini noodles, lemon pesto, grilled cherry tomatoes

Raw Green Soup- romaine, kale, celery, cucumber, grape tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice

-Maharini Dahl- Northern Indian lentil stew

-Kitchery- Ayurvedic blend of red lentils and brown rice
